Finding New Methods for Sensory Integration

I’ve recently been exploring different strategies for sensory integration in my sessions, especially for kids with autism. One tool that has been a game-changer for me is the use of weighted vests during activities — it seems to really help some children focus better. I’m curious if anyone has other resources or methods they’ve found particularly effective in supporting sensory development milestones.

I’ve had great success with fidget tools like stress balls. They can help kids retain focus during sessions. Have you tried mixing those with the weighted vests? :balloon:.

I totally get the struggle with sensory integration methods! Using weighted vests sounds great, but I’ve found sensory bins to be a hit too. Kids love digging through them, and it adds a tactile element that’s super engaging. Have you thought about incorporating that with the vests?
