Wearable IMUs to track carryover

I’m piloting a forearm-worn IMU with short video snippets to quantify reach and grasp frequency between sessions in our outpatient neuro program over the next 6 weeks… As the clinical supervisor, I’m evaluating whether these metrics inform progression and client coaching rather than just producing pretty graphs. What devices or workflows have given you reliable data without creating burdensome setup for clients or the team?

But > producing pretty graphs. What devices or workflows have given you reliable data without creating burdensome setup In our 6-week forearm-IMU pilot, a 60-sec in-clinic reach-to-cup calibration made the data usable. We focused on use ratio and median reach-bout duration; raw counts were noisy with gait.
