Looking forward to another week of valuable conversations and shared knowledge. Until next time, take care and keep making a difference.

Integrating telehealth has been a game changer for my practice, especially during the pandemic. We started using video calls for everything from assessments to follow-ups, which opened up access for clients who’d otherwise struggle to make it in person. I agree that focusing on living skills is essential; something that’s worked well for us is incorporating everyday routines into those virtual sessions — really helps maintain engagement.

I’ve found that using simple digital note-taking apps can really streamline assessments, especially when juggling multiple clients. For example, I started using Google Keep to quickly jot down observations during telehealth sessions. Just a heads up, though; while it’s great for organization, make sure clients understand how their privacy is protected with any app you choose.

Telehealth’s been a game changer for me too, especially in terms of reaching clients who have difficulty with transportation. I use a platform like Doxy.me for sessions; it’s simple and reliable. However, I find it’s crucial to keep the personal touch, just like in face-to-face interactions. It’s all about finding that balance, right?
